The Clangers are pink, long-nosed, inventive and lovable mouse-shaped creatures who live on a little blue planet, out in the starry stretches of space, not far from Earth. The family has adventures together, and in each episode, there is a problem to solve, something invented, something discovered or someone new to meet. Narrated by Michael Palin, the series is now aimed at a younger audience, but it retains its quirky, warm feeling and is more musical and colourful than ever before.
